One thing that always bugged me about this movie was this sequence. Black Manta isn't stupid or anything, but that Atlantean tech was generations ahead of anything Manta had seen. Despite this, he's able to reverse-engineer everything he got into something wearable, fully functional, and flight enabled?! How?! By all accounts messing with that gun and turning it into a helmet had as much a chance of working as it did blowing his head off during the fight with Aquaman.
